The apartment is situated in a rural location between the village of Cordon and the town of Combloux in the Haute-Savoie region of France. It is one hours drive from Geneva airport, 10 hours drive from the Channel ports. It is just 40 minutes to the Italian border ( Tunnel de Mont Blanc) and a morning’s drive to the north Tuscan delights of Florence, Lucca and Pisa and Milan, Turin, the lakes, Venice and Verona. This is a magnificent location for all seasons with a wide range of activities available from general site-seeing to adventure sports. Five minutes from the two villages of Cordon and Combloux with local shops, bakers, ski hire equipment, bars and restaurants. Twenty minutes from a town, Sallanches, with large supermarket, shops, train station and Saturday market. There is adequate, private parking at the apartment.
The apartment is a five minutes drive to the one of the main Evasion Mt Blanc ski area. This includes 445 km of pistes and 113 lifts and plenty to keep all standards of skier busy for a fortnight and more. If you want to venture further a field then the apartment is ideally located for visiting the ski resorts of Flaine (45 minutes), Chamonix (45 minutes), La Clusaz (45 minutes) and the Port de Soleil (1 hour).
The apartment is on the ground floor of a quiet apartment block and provides unbelievable views of Mt Blanc and the Arves valley from the Salon, bedroom 1 and garden.
The Apartment
The apartment has two bedrooms, salon (lounge/ dining room), large hall and open plan kitchen and a bathroom/shower room. In total it covers 60 square metres.
The Salon
The salon caters well for six people with two French windows to the garden and a modern double facing open fire. It has a comfortable double sofa bed to enable the accommodation to sleep six.
The Hall and Kitchen
This area contains the new open plan kitchen with oven, dishwater, fridge and plenty of cupboard space. There is also the other side of the open fire and a cloak area to keep your ski gear warm ready for those cold winter days.
The Bathroom/Shower Room
This is the state of the art bathroom with large shower and bath so that you can relax those aching muscles after a long day’s skiing or hiking. The bathroom also houses the washing machine which is neatly tucked away in the cupboard space.
Bedrooms 1 and 2
These bedrooms have zip and link beds which mean that you can have one very generous double or two 3’ singles. There is a wardrobe and two bedside tables in each room that easily accommodate all the clothes that you are likely to bring.
The Garden
The apartment has a private garden in which to relax. It has outstanding views over the valley towards the Mt Blanc chain.
